Parliamentary Debater & Middle School Coach

Parliamentary debate rewards thinking fast and building an argument on the spot more than memorizing research. I competed for three years on Del Norte’s team and earned two bronze medals at league tournaments.

From March 2025 I also coached debate at Oak Valley Middle School. It was the first time I’d taught the event I compete in, and having to explain why an argument works made my own debating noticeably better.
