Claude Autopilot
Jul 2026 – Aug 2026
- AutoHotkey
- Bash
- tmux
- WSL
Started with something simple: my keyboard’s dedicated Copilot key,
remapped via AutoHotkey to launch Claude instead. That grew into a real
scheduling tool — a function that waits a specified HR:MI delay, then
calls claude -p hello to resume a session unattended, useful for kicking
off a long-running task and letting Claude pick back up on its own hours
later without babysitting it.
The scheduler now has two implementations depending on where I’m working:
an AutoHotkey version bound to the same remapped key on Windows, and a
tmux-based one on WSL (Ubuntu 24.04) for keeping a session alive and
auto-continuing from the Linux side.
